A lesson learned from last week's hike. Need snowshoe or ski in winter. So I bought snowshoe.

This hike was at the last minutes hike since the road to get here will be closed at the end of November.

Grizzly Col, where the trail ends. Mountain on the right is Mt. Tyrwhitt. This mountain has a window just like Window Mountain in Crowsnest Pass.

I tried to get up to Highwood Ridge and then walk on the ridge, but I chickened out and decided to go back to the trail and followed it.

At the Grizzly Col. Looking at south and these mountains are The Continental Divide.

Looking at the Pocaterra Ridge. Perhaps in summer I can try Mt Tywhitt and Pocaterra Ridge at the same day. Even better If I can fit Highwood ridge as well.

It's rare to have such a nice day in winter. Usually it snowing or flurries that I don't get much visibility in mountain.
