Buchanan Ridge East Peak

New Year scramble at Buchanan Ridge in Waterton again!! Man it's so dry this year, it was more like late September condition.

I cannot believe how stupid I was not brining my snowshoes… My second attempt to Phillipps Peak was complete failure.

Ski at Pulpit Peak

The first yoyo skiing of the season at an outlier of Pulpit Peak. It was nice powder and had fun. After all yoyo maybe isn't as bad as I think.

Ski at Kootenay Burn

Joined ACC ski event coordinated by Benben. We went skiing between trees at Kootenay Burn which is a Vermillion Peak's slope.

Columbia Icefield

It would have been my one of highlights in this business if I could have successfully summit Mount Columbia, but it didn't happen this time.

Prairie Mountain

Finally I decided to go to Prairie Mountain. It was a beautiful day out… at least where I was, not deeper into the mountains.

Yates Mountain

Visiting Yates Mountain AKA Barrier Lake Lookout. After a rough week in the mountains, even this snow less area got some snow.

Junction Hill

Unknown peak turned out to be Junction Hill. I didn't know. I did while loop on this small peak in south Kananaskis.

Mount Haffner

Nice to be back standing on top of a summit which was higher than treeline. Mount Hanffer offered me great views.

Emerald Peak

I had the perfect weather for a superb summit. Emerald Peak in Yoho did not disapoint me at all. I highly recommend this peak.

Storm Mountain North Ridge

I stormed to Storm Mountain North Ridge… Fine I am sorry, but least you get my trip report for free. Another peak done.

Hector South

Back to Hector but this time it's Hector South at GR521118. This peak offers crazy awesome view of Mount Hector.

Little Temple

Little Temple which is a small peak NE of Mount Temple. We came across unexpected crux traversing from false to true summit.

Bow Hut

For 2012 May long weekend, we headed out to Bow Hut to do some peak bagging in Wapta Icefield with snowshoes.

Waited for a beautiful summar day to do the Fortress, Chester to Headwall Lakes traverse. Weather wasn't great but it was still a wonderful day.

Mount Buller

Surprisingly unpopular peak, Mount Buller. Maybe it's something to do with the slab, but rewards at the summit was awesome.

Kid Goat

Shaun is my teacher for rock climbing. He taught me how to indoor climb, sport climb, traditional climb, then this time muliti-pitch climbing.

Lake Louise to Skoki Traverse

Thinking about this 4 peak traverse from LL ski report to Skoki for a while. Finally I decided to do this under a wonderful weather.

Mount Bowlen

First day of grand traverse of 2 of Ten Peaks of the Valley. Neil Colgan Hut to Mt Bowlen via Schiesser Ledges.

Mount Little

Second day of grand traverse of 2 of Ten Peaks of the Valley. Mt Little and went back via Perren Route.

Abbot Pass Hut

We couldn't attempt Mount Victoria south due to the weather, so we were stuck inside Abbot Pass Hut for the weekend.

Little Hector

This trip was supposed to be 2 peak day but with my lack of research, I only got to Little Hector.

Mount Ogden

Little more difficult than my guess, Mount Ogden was surely a challenging peak just like its neighbor Wapta Mountain.

Mount Amery

Mount Amery turned out to be very memorable trip. I will not forget the painful river crossing and a long bushwhacking.

Mount Tecumseh

The last peak in Kane's Crowsnest section, Mount Tecumseh. This peak was short and quite straight forward approach.
