We brought 2 cars for this trip. One parked at Wilcox Creek Campground and the other parked at Tangle Falls view point. It's better to start from Wilcox Creek otherwise there will be more elevation gain as you can see from altitude graph. The actual trail is more of straight line but we went SW toward waypoints "Cairn 1 & 2" to enjoy the view of Athabasca Glacier.

Unlike my normal trips, it was nice and easy walk. Not much elevation gain.

We had a perfect weather. Warm, not too windy, no clouds, just blue sky.

Mount Wilcox or Wilcox Peak… Not sure which is correct. Book says mount, map says peak. Anyway it doesn't look easy to do in winter. What worse is that later I found out this was easier part.

Despite Wilcox is rated moderate scramble, there seems quite big dips and bumps on the ridge. I believe the true summit is the right peak.

Kinu's snowshoes are fascinating. I have never seen these kinds before. She claims she bought them at a ski shop but I think she is lying. I think she bought them at Safeway.
