Pink line is the actual track I took which was recorded by my GPS. If you are going to use my GPX, keep it mind that I couldn't get to the summit because I thought I took a wrong route, but I was dead on target. So trust my track and keep going beyond.

This is Rummel Lake and Lower peak of Mount Galatea. Famous cross-country ski trail I heard. I might want to try in winter time.

South end of the Tower. This mountain is officially unnamed.

This is Mount Galatea as I mentioned earlier.

Many people stop at Rummel Lake, but the real pretty view is beyond the lake I think. I love these green glass valley.

Going farther more, trail became hard to track and invisible.

Not knowing where to start climbing the Tower, I followed trail and came to the end. Oops, I guess I have to find my own way.

So this was my way. As my bible mentioned, the slope was quite steep. Steep enough to use hands constantly. Scramble scramble.

Summit of Mount Galatea, I was watching this mountain and thinking this mountain is almost no way to hike at least from this side I am seeing. In fact the bible says hike from the other side but still it is rated difficult.

This is where I stopped. After hiking with uncertainty and seeing the where the peak is and where I was, I convinced myself, I took wrong route. But after looking at the picture in the bible, the summit I thought it was wasn't the summit and actually I was on the right pass. I should have carried the book with me.

Left is Mount Birdwood, the far side in the center is I believe Mount Vavasour, and the right is Mount Smuts, one of the most difficult mountain to clime from probably any hike/scramble books available in the Canadian Rockies. Doesn't look that hard at all from here but according to the bible, only few parties make to the summit each year and many back off and some have required rescuing... And yet I am daring to challenge that mountain someday.
