After complete disappointment spending a night in the car hoping to see northern lights, I went to a peak I keep having difficult time remembering spelling, Prairie Mountain. It has been weeks since my injury from the Columbia Icefield trip. As of today it is not healed and has no sign of healing. So I kinda gave up on skiing this season, and for now decided to go places where I don't have to wear skis or snowshoes which helps the soreness I have.
This being such a popular mountain I do not comment anything on description except watch out for moose when driving in dark. A tip from my friend.

There are few trailheads to Prairie, but I used the trailhead at the peeping Tom sign about 200 or 300 m farther from the winter gate.

The white top you can see from here is almost the summit.

Most of the way was covered with snow or ice. If you are not comfortable walking on these conditions, you should bring micro spike.

What a beautiful blue sky. I want to say such a beautiful day at the mountain but it was only nice at front range, not deeper in the mountains.

Big cornices for this peak.
