Pink line is the actual track I took which was recorded by my GPS. I don't recommend this one in winter, since ascent ridge becomes slabby and narrower near the top. Slipping can be fatal. Look for 2 cairns. The first one at side of the river where you stop walking along the river. The second one indicates the entrance to trail where ascending starts.

As we got closer to the summit, it got slabby and more difficult to walk in snow condition.

At the summit. Perfect weather. Just as what I was looking for. No view of Canmore. From left, Wil, me with Chevy racing toque (return of #88!! Jr. Nation!!), and Andrea.

It was actually short. Three of us had the same reaction when we found out we were at the summit. "Already?"

Really needed to step carefully. The narrowest part of the ridge was about 2m, drops both sides, and slabby.
