Right at the parking lot. We were welcomed by a rainbow.
Finally after a long creek walking, we saw the ridge.

The biggest problem that day was wind. It was beyond violent that it knocked me down even when I was on knees while I was taking picture… In result, I smashed my camera and broke it. That wasn't bad enough, I was lifted in the air 3 times by strong wind gusts. I have never experience such strong wind in my life before. Ali and Zofia both lie down for safety.
Higher we went the wind got stronger. Mouse over to see the route to the peak.
Unnamed ridge and peaks but between them, Fisher Peak appears.
Snack break. From left, Kinu, me, Ali, and Zofia. Another an international team. Kinu is actually Japanese. She had such a clean accent I couldn't tell until she mentioned, but I am suspicious because I have never seen her in Tokyo…

I thought the view from this ridge was super. I recommend to try this one.
Fighting through wind, we still kept quite a good pace.
Another snack break. The second highest point and the peak in sight.
As we approached to the second highest point, the wind became stronger and stronger. I guess we were less and less protected by surrounding mountains. This is where I got lifted.
Snow was hard and we could have slipped, so we had to walk carefully especially when wind was pushing us around.
Flying ice particles are sparkling by the beautiful sunlight.
It was about -10 C and wind blowing so hard it felt much colder. Ice particles and backpack's straps were hitting my cold face making me cry. T-T

The last bit. At this point, the peak was only 30 m away. But to get up here we were forced to stop for minutes until wind calmed down for us to proceed.
Ali is having a moment of relief from wind.
This is where I broke my camera… Stupid wind!!
