I took 2 day glacier travel and crevasse rescue course. After spending a day in a classroom in Canmore, we came out to Athabasca Glacier for practice. Now I will have pleasure of asking for money when someone falls into crevasse.

Learning rescue system is very complicated, maybe it's simpler to carry a knife and cut the rope.
The day turned out to be a beautiful warm spring day. Very enjoyable when we stood still for most of the day.
Now I have to practice so that I won't forget. If I do, I have no choice but to carry a knife.

At the end of the day, we went to see this big wall of blue glacier which was only 10 min away from the parking lot.
