Pink line is the actual track I took which was recorded by my GPS. On the way up, we missed the trail and went off route (South route is correct route). Info here is for doing only Belmore. For the complete traverse stats, please see page 8.

That day, we were accompanied by two famous movie stars. This is Abe Sapien, the fish guy, from Hellboy.

About 500 m away from Belmore, mountains in North Kananaskis said hello to us. This is at waypoint cairn 3.

Still got few humps on the way.

Beside the wind it was such a beautiful day.

Tiara Peak in sight. Mouseover to see route. I almost felt like we went around 300 degrees. If you are confident enough, you maybe able to scramble up steeper terrain but I won't recommend.

Snow was hard and difficult to walk across at the base of summit block.

We could only go so far without crampons with hard snow. Andrea and I put crampons on and kept going, but the rest went down to avoid hard snow.

One thing nice about here was that we were protected from wind. Felt so warm.

The other side of the summit block. Look for a cairn at waypoint cairn 6. That is where the route to the summit is.

At the summit, I was hugging rock to minimize wind hitting my face. I knew Ali would take picture of me…

We picked this guy up at our usual meeting place in Calgary that morning. He wasn't invited to this trip. He came out of nowhere screaming towards us at the meeting place. We where like what the heck is wrong with this dude? Certainly this guy got some energy to burn, waking up so early in a Saturday morning to run and scream like a mad man. Then we found out it was Mark, the boss. Mark was supposed to go back to UK. We said good-bye to him 3 weeks ago and he went of to BC and US to travel before going back to UK. But he found a job in Calgary and came back with that stupid costume. The Boss is BACK!!
