The last day at Skoki, our last destination was Fossil Mountain. Now that I see my route with GPS track, it’s pretty much straight line from campsite to the summit… lol. We stayed on Boulder Pass then turned on to Deception Pass. However we didn’t stay too long on Deception Pass rather we went off trail to east to avoid little hump. After this , we arrived southwest corner of Fossil. We found a visible trail on ascent route, but after crossing over a snow patch, we lost it and from then on we went straight up to the summit. No difficulty and no routefinding is required.

After four days in Skoki, I must say this place is truly a paradise. I can only imagine how beautiful this place can be when weather is nicer and grass is greener. I have to come back.
