Pink line is the actual track I took which was recorded by my GPS. Our descent route is better for ascent. Easier to leave Burstall Pass trail before steeper uphill just before the end of pass and aim towards south.

* Grid References (GR) is based on WGS84 which can be considered as NAD83 (The difference is inciginificant)

Wow, amazing pictures So, i wish i had a pair of snowshoes, but to rent them all the time gets really annoying... and a hand full.

This is one of trails on my to-do list. Though driving on the Smith-Dorrien load makes me nervous. I should buy a 4x4.
