About 8 min away (by bike) from my new office in S.E. of Calgary. I ride bike. It's about 40 min in summer condition. In winter condition, depending on wind, temperature and road condition, it can be 70 to 80 min. The distance is about 18km. When I describe with words it doesn't sound that far but look at the downtown and how far I ride... My house is beyond downtown in N.W.

I across downtown one side to the other side when I ride bike. It's funny, there are expensive condos and well dressed people walk around in West side but then in East side there are too many homelesses. I tend to ride faster in East than in West.
