Krakow, one of the oldest and largest cities of Poland, yet Krakow has been one of the leading scientific, cultural and artistic centres of Poland. But what I noticed was I saw a lot of tourists including myself.

I spotted a pigeon in middle of a park. This pigeon wasn't moving at all. So I quietly approached to it and it still didn't move. I wasn't sure if this pigeon was dead or simply sleeping. I almost attempted to poke it but I chickened out, instead I took a picture. Look at it! How dumb it looks.

One of gates & towers of The Wawel Castle, built in the 14th century by Kazimierz the Great.

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

The Wawel Castle had kinda wired structures I thought. I guess it might be because this castle was expanded. Instead of having one big building, it had several buildings like colleges in the North America as well these buildings had slightly different styles.

Still at the Wawel Castle. This is nothing like my house in Calgary…

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

This is courtyard (still the Wawel Castle). I wish I live place like this.

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

I forgot about this wall. I looked up the internet but could not find much info. I think this wall is called wall of power or something like that. This is one of the wall in the courtyard. By lying the wall just like Beata and her husband Atrur are doing and make a wish, the wish will become true. So where is my Polish girlfriend?

This is Wawel Cathedral. Most Polish kings and their family members are buried here and actually they were nice enough to allow visitors to touch the tombs. Beside that alters and other objects were just impressive.

This is Zygmunt inside Zygmunt's Tower at Wawel Cathedral. The bell was cast in 1520.

Baroque church of St. Peter and St. Paul's. This church is the oldest Baroque building in Krakow.

Rynek Glowny Grand Square and St. Mary's Basilica, a Gothic church. This ten-acre square is the largest of all Europe's medieval cities.

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

Cloth Hall. This was once a major centre of international trade in the 15th century. Nowadays this is a best place to get traditional polish goods for souvenir.

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

The Florian Gate, built before 1307. As I was looking up the internet I realized I missed so many good stuff in Krakow. It's all Stella's fault because she had to take a break and drink beer every 50 steps. Boo Boo!

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

The Great Barbican of Krakow, the main city gate. One of the very few surviving structures of its kind in Europe.

15

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

In side the gate, people in this gate still live the same way they have been living since 15th century. See even samurai does not exist nowadays but the knights do. Where's Trace? Go fight Trace! Fight to the eeeeeeend!! I pay tax! Where's my service? (Technically I pay his pay check by my tax, so I kept bugging him during the trip.)

They sell swords & archeries. These 15 century peeps were very friendly, they all smiled at the camera for me.

17

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

In side St. Mary's Basilica, a Gothic church which previously you have seen the picture. (The picture of the Grand Square and this huge church). Young couples were getting married in this church. Can you imagine getting married in such a place? It like if they end up with divorce they will go straight to hell. By the way all the pictures that Stella or I took came out blurry. I know Stella was just drank. Pictures weren't allowed inside the church to begin with. I am telling you, you cannot commit an evil deed in front of God.

Every hour a trumpet signal called the hejnal is played from the top of this church's tower, but they never finish the song. That tradition came from the famous 13th century trumpeter who was shot in the throat while sounding the alarm before the Mongol attack on the city.

Wieza Ratuszowa still in the square. I could not find English documents on this tower. So let talk about goodies. While Stella was spending so much time and money drinking beer, Trance and I walked around to find Polish goodies. At the end of this trip, suddenly Stella realized that she didn't have any goodies. Next thing I know, She took my goodies. The hat and T-shirts that Beata family gave to me, the Polish mag-cup that Marek bought for me in Poznan, even a Canadian T-shirt which Stella herself gave it to me a year ago. Trace do something!! It's your mother and I pay tax! Where is my service!!

Talk about Polska (Polish) girls. Unbelievable. They all slim and stay slim. Their legs shape nice. They wear cute & attractive outfit not like Tokyo or Calgary girls who dress like people in 80's music videos. Yet their skins look healthier and they don’t age like the North Americans. They age like Asians. Look young. Yet yet yet, they all so pretty. Now I understand why all the Polish relatives in Canada are all pretty. My hair dresser is a 100% polish blood young lady and of course she's pretty. Poland is a massive production of pretty girls. So when is Tyskie beer factory hiring me? I have certificate from them!

See even Superman and Badman came to see Polska girls. Trace! Go fight them! Fight to the eeeeeeeeeend! I pay tax!

Polska 3 | 2007-06-09

Still in the square. They had a special festival, but we couldn't get a good place to watch. Stella was too busy drinking we were too late to get good seats.

Crazy European parking system. One car on the sidewalk and other is double parking. Japan is not too much bigger than Poland yet Japan has about 3 times more population, but even in Tokyo you don't see this.
