This is Yatsugatake, a famous mountain for hiking and skiing. The gate you see leads to hell. People beyond the gate are dead people. Not really. It's called Torii, and I don't know anything more.

People gives the poor homeless guy some money. They are way too nice. Well it's a symbol of a god, and I guess people give money for safety.
Just like there are sphinix in front of pyramids, there are scary looking lions near the place where gods are.
The mountain behind is Yatugatake. Too many hikers goes there, so it like being a town rather than being nature.

When we arrived, there weren't any line, but look at the line now. People, people, people.
